Growing Pains and Apologies

Guys, I just wanted to apologize like whoa for a few things. The blog has grown super fast, which is thrilling and scary, and my IT team (read: my husband) and I are doing all we can to keep up and make the site as functional and fast as we can.

As part of that effort, we installed some caching software today which totally fucked one of my plug-ins and then flooded my Twitter stream with about a hojillion old posts. I am so sorry and completely mortified. Forgive me, Internets. To make matters worse, I didn’t discover it until an hour later because I was taking a nice Sunday afternoon nap. Womp womp. Lesson learned: Bloggers may not nap!

The second thing I want to apologize for is my Pinterest account. I combined my personal and blog accounts about a week ago which lead to flood of repins from my old account to my new account. This was my attempt at “merging” my accounts, since Pinterest doesn’t have an official merge function. So, I inadvertently flooded your Pinterest feed, too. I am teh suck. Sorry!

In any case, this is my apology face (and wacky hair):

    For the record, I love this blog so I can forgive you (for things that aren’t even your faulr, ie: pinterest not having a merge button, and taking an hour long Sunday nap, are you kidding me? I don’t even know what day it is most of the time). I hope the awesomeness resumes it’s normal flow for you and your blog. :)
