It’s that giving time of year, people. Even Pinterest knows it…
I kind of wonder about the accompanying image, though… And you know me. I had to fix it.
I slay me.
Seriously, though, if the giving spirit is upon you, here’s some more info on a local-to-me charity running a toy & coat drive. Just wanted to let you know in case you are so moved. Also, remember that these kids often need adult-sized coats as the kids in the Boys & Girls club are up to 18 years old!

The two entrepreneurs and co-founders behind NINETY SIX, Bianca Parker and Brittany Cooper, met in 1996 and later decided to launch NINETY SIX to commemorate the year they met. Parker and Cooper both have a passion for helping underprivileged children and have partnered as a result with the John Avery Boys & Girls Club of Durham to host an event that will provide children with fun toys and warm coats this holiday season.
Sponsors for this event include NCCU, Fitzgerald Seafood Restaurant, DTLR of the Streets at Southpoint, North Carolina Central Campus Recreation and The Kappa Omicron Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated of UNC Chapel Hill.
