Well, enough of you said to bring it back that I’m gonna.

Yes, a lot of you don’t care, and yes, a lot of you like cuttlefish, but hey. Only 27 of you thought it was stupid. You 27 can go read something else.

Jodee Rose • My answer was really “YES! Bring it back!” but then I saw that “Cuttlefish.” was a response and I had no choice but to click it. You really brought this on yourself.

True enough.

Sandi Boyd • I voted yes, even though I wanted like CRAZY to vote cuttlefish…just because you actually CHOSE cuttlefish, not something more normal, like say, blobfish or something. Jeez, one of the whole reasons I ever comment is with the hope that I catch your attention enough to make the roundup! 🙂 You know…like this:

Well I really don’t know how the hell I’m supposed to resist that.

And here’s a comment that actually pertains to the post about the fudge and not about polls and cuttlefish:

Branimaniac . • Castor sugar is the Scottish term for icing sugar. All my mom’s family recipes call for it. Probably explains the grainy texture? I’d triple the Baileys, just to be safe. Or just drink Bailey’s while eating the fudge.

And while there is still some discussion about what caster sugar actually is in the comments, I do appreciate the advice about the Baileys.

As to my advice on being yourself, I’m glad to see that some of you have already taken it to heart.

Kelly724 • I’m always myself. Unless I’m drunk. Then I’m a slut.

Totally fair, girl.

This comment is not even on my blog, guys, but my brother and his significant other tried chorizo kale soup and I got a report on it:

inspired by your post, we made this last night. first of all, mmmmmmazing. second: if you use soy chorizo bc someone in your house is a veggie, it WILL look like diarrhea

So be warned, people.

Thanks, you guys, for always being awesome in the comments. Even if I don’t post your comment or reply to it personally, I want you to know that I read every single one and laugh my ass off every day because you people are funny. If you are not a regular reader of the comments on this blog, you need to be. I think the comments are better than the post sometimes… a lot of the time… fine, most of the time. So read them, and keep checking back on Tuesdays for a round-up of some of the best ones!

next use for baileys…roast a marshmallow, then dunk the warm, crusty gooiness in a glass of baileys and enjoy!

I think you’d get extra points for bringing back Pintestes if you link to the blog of the featured commenters if you feature them. I know you get a ton of non-bloggers, but us bloggers would appreciate the link love 🙂 aka we’re all moochers…

Did I miss linking someone’s blog? I do always try… It does make it easier for me if you put it in your Disqus profile, though.

I need to start blogging on a regular basis. Most of my projects morph in the middle into something else and I enjoy my happy accidents. I’m like, “it was supposed to be a chair redo, but yay!” And I end up with, oh idk. A lamp or something.

Maybe I missed it or they just didn’t have a blog. I am le unobservant, often.

GLAAAAD it’s back. I don’t always get a chance to read the comments, so now I can read the roundup again and see what the Pintestes are saying, in summary, and appreciate them for their majesty and wit.

Now that we’ve got this fixed, can we talk about your G rated tagline? I miss your swears!

I quickly devolved into saying “cuttlefish” repeatedly in funny voices to amuse my baby. I guess he thinks you’re funny too, though it may be my awesome funny voice skillz that made him laugh. Yea, ok, nm, I take full credit.

I’m Scottish with American parents and castor sugar is NOT icing sugar. It is just granulated sugar. Sorry, I just felt that was important to correct 0:)

    • Isobel_A August 30, 2013 - 7:48 am Reply

I’m English (booo, hissss!) and agree that caster sugar is granulated sugar, although it’s a finer granule than ordinary white sugar. And, my grammar and spelling is being hijacked by America. I started to type ‘regular white sugar’ and had to correct myself. Bah.

Sorry Americans, your English looks great on you, but I really do want to keep mine!

Arggghh! I mispelt caster sugar, sorry! The shame…

agreed, I’m a brit and castar sugar is NOT icing sugar, icing sugar is icing sugar durh (icing no longer looks like a word but my spell check hasn’t made it red and wiggly so it’s cool). Castar sugar is granulated sugar

I’d love to say yes bring it back, everything deserves at least ONE comeback, but I have no clue what it is so…pfft, fucked if I know man 😀 CUTTLEFISH!!
P.S. Are you vegetarian? coz those vids to the right of where I’m typing, about factory farming and horrible meat processing methods actually made me become a vegetarian for over a year. I only eat organic free range meat now and not that often. So sad…might wanna put a warning on the vids tho, so graphic and upsetting to soft hearted mofo’s like me 🙂
