Every time I put up a post, I get lots of wisdom in the comments. Some of it has to do pretty directly with the post: how I might’ve fixed my problem, or how someone else has done it better. And some are just random pieces of advice. I rarely share these because I figure if you really care about doing it right, you’re not on this blog anyway. But some of it is amazeballs, for real.
So, in the category of You Learn Something New Every Day, here are some educational comments from the Pintestes:
EmileeKingsley One of the laziest things I’ve ever done was adopt two dwarf goats so that they could eat all the weeds that fall off the trees.
Truffles8761 This is from Tootsie.com: Created in 1925, the portable caramel lollipop was originally called the PapaSucker, later changing its name in 1932 to suggest “a wealth ofsweetness”–hence, Sugar Daddy.
scotpjmacdonald The advantage of having friends that own horses and are mechanics is that you can pack someone’s wheel wells on their car full of horse shit. Of course only after you remove their washer fluid and fill it with piss. Not that I’ve ever done such a heinous thing…in college…years ago…
EmmaBeEmma My mac and cheese is always lumpy and gross. My husband’s is fabulous. He stirs it for literally 10 minutes. I used to stand in the kitchen crying because I was so hungry – JUST SERVE IT ALREADY YOU JACKASS! But now, I realize, it’s the best mac and cheese in the world. Now I dance around while waiting, singing, “Stir it for me baby, uh huh uh huh. Stir it for me baby, uh huh uh huh.” ala the Pretty Fly for a White Guy song.
You guys are super smart.
