I have done something similar but I used crescent dough, turns out pretty good. I was actually going to try the drink until you taste tested it.

I loved you singing the “Brush-em” commercial from Grease.

I’ve always used the cloudy type spiced apple cider for our “apple pie” drinks in a 2parts apple to one part vanilla vodka, it usually tasted good. Never tried it with the clear, so I’ll take your word for it, and not do that.

I Voted! you should pintest the pumpkin pie jello shots… I made them and they came out pretty good, it’s just a lot of work to get tipsy, so make a pumpkin drink too!

Apple pie drink: cider, caramel vodka and butterscotch schnapps 🙂 Autumnal heaven.

I’m going to let someone else make the useless finger hole joke, and share with you what I do with my eight million apples. I stick two in my bra and hang out for awhile to see how long it takes my husband to notice. If he’s really involved with tv I just go check myself out in front of the mirror for awhile.
Maybe I’ll get a hooter shirt like yours for next apple season when I make my apple hooters.

Can I ask where you went apple picking? I live in the NC county that produces the most apples, so I’m mostly just curious. 🙂 Plus I met my husband when we both worked at Harris Teeter, so it amuses me to see the HT products you use!

We went to Sky Top Orchard, KT. And it’s super cute that you met at Harris Teeter. 🙂 They are my favorite grocery store!

I’ve had my eye on that sweater for awhile, and I didn’t even consider all the Hooters jokes I can make when I wear it! Thanks Pintester! Also, I know your apple pie bites didn’t work out, but I think that’s something I’m going to have to try (and possibly fail at) for myself. I mean, it’s apple pie. It should be delicious, right?

By far the best part of this video was you waiting for the oven to ding.

  • Jennifer Bickford October 10, 2013 - 12:54 am Reply

“unroll your pie crust dildo” Bahahaha! That made my night! My husband got a chuckle too 🙂

My mom used to use off-cuts from pie crusts to make something similar for us kids when she baked. It was just cinnamon sugar sprinkled on to buttered pastry, rolled up and baked. We called them Cinnamons; we didn’t have much imagination.

Did you clean your kitchen for this video, or do you never have any shit in your sinks?

Okay, so, this is kinda inappropriate and weird but it’s not as if that has ever stopped anybody on this blog before… why do you get diarrhea from eating apple peels? Is that some American thing? Sorry but I’m really curious now!

    • UninspiredRequiredName October 10, 2013 - 8:47 am Reply

I don’t think it’s an American thing, I’m American and I don’t recall ever hearing about anything like that. I too am curious about why apple peels would cause diarrhea.

All the fiber is in the peels!

To increase your hipster-ness you should have the cocktail in a mason jar.

I found using vanilla schnapps instead of vodka tastes better.

  • Megan October 10, 2013 - 4:04 pm Reply

My sister makes these with crescent roll dough and Mountain Dew, and they are very yummy:)

I was going to compliment you on how nice your boobs look in that shirt, and then you pointed out the hooter connection. It’s cuz we is twinz. Also, Disqus either hates me or my iPad. Also, I am going to start waiting for the oven like that. It will make my husband snort and roll his eyes, and I will laugh hysterically because I am so funny, but I’m the only one who gets it.

Gah! All I want it to watch a Pintester video while I poop and my kid keeps yelling every time he hears your voice.

Okay, so am i the only one who finds that budget savvy diva site frustrating? her recipes are either never clear or are typed out in like comic sans or an unreadable font. If you read through the comments on the apple pie one, she mentions she only used one pie crust but never bothers to amend the recipe! I’m not good at winging it in the kitchen and need clearly written directions, otherwise I’m guaranteed to fuck up the recipe.

also- dark rum and apple cider. not super apple pie-ish, but absolutely DELICIOUS.

I absolutely LOVE your site. Was having a semi-bad afternoon, watched this vid, and laughed out loud. I also had a tequila sunrise I was kinda nursing, didn’t want to finish, but since you ‘stuck with yours’, I decided to finish mine also. Thanks! 🙂

So laughing … the video was so like the “first” ones you use to do with all the comments, face expressions, dildo reference etc. Hope to see more like these because they do truly make me laugh!

  • Amy October 16, 2013 - 2:29 pm Reply

Okay, so I think you need to replace the vanilla vodka with either caramel vodka or whiskey/bourbon. I’ve had the former at a restaurant and made the latter at home, and both are delicious.

I have tried a Boston Apple Pie drink before and it was DELICIOUS though I may have been drunk already from a few Stoned Smurfs. I have no idea what was in either drink.
