You dudes asked about how to do the updo from my last video, so here it is. Kind of. I messed up a little. SHUT UP. Hair is hard. (If you can’t see the video, click here!)

Love this look, Sonja! I used to do this all the time…back when I had hair. I’m rockin the “Jamie Lee Curtis” look lately, although a bit less gray, lol! I need to show this to my little 10 year old fashionista, though – she’s always looking for new ways to do her hair!
Osis texturizing powder is the BEST stuff for making your hair feel gross and dirty, and making it stay in updos. It kind of has the texture of rosin (I would’t be surprised if that’s what it is).
Trying this. My hair is usually, eh, not squeaky clean (read: gross). It should work. Thanks!
You could always make sticky pins with hairspray…look it up!
How willing would you be to travel to Texas and host a “pintester” party? I think it would be a blast! lol cute hair btw!
Hee, sounds fun– wish I could! 🙂
Ah, remembering fondly the days of too short to do shit with. Now it is long enough, but too clean. That’s what SHE said!
This is a super cute style! I decided to do it with my hair and apparently I’ve forgotten how to “girl”. After spending about ten arm agonizing minutes trying to keep my hair tight while separating it into three sections I was unsuccessful. I soldiered on and tried a few more times at which point I gave up and came to the conclusion that I cannot braid my own hair from the back without first tying it up with an elastic. So, I did that… braid… ugly, but successful! Next step, bobby pins… where are all my bobby pins? After that I promptly gave up and settled for an ugly braid.
Pretty and easy enough for my lazy ass!
I made a new Pinterest board called “Hair is Hard.” You’re welcome.
In my experience, if its not dirty, it needs to be wet.
